I am available to provide a variety of music, literature, leadership and ethics based programming for libraries and schools, including (but not limited to):

Librarian/Teacher Storytime & Music Workshop
For this workshop, I teach by example. I’ll present a storytime for your patrons, which staff will observe, with pre- and post-work and discussion. I do everything from lapsit to storytime for older children, up to 2nd grade.

Get Your Sh*t Together Talks
This workshop is harder to define. Give me a topic and I’ll craft a presentation/workshop using storytelling, stand-up comedy, and other approaches to reinvigorate staff and help them get their sh*t together. These can be designed for small groups, departments, or entire library staff days. Topics of passion include: reader’s advisory, booktalks, ethics, leading from any position, outreach to schools and community partners, managing “up.”

Family Concerts
A forty-five minute singalong music program open to the public or for a private event for an audience of seventy-five or more. Concerts can be tailored for specific age ranges upon request.

I compose my set-lists using a mixture of children’s classics, folk songs, original songs, and covers of family friendly popular songs. I strive for a clear, simple presentation that allows the music to shine and I seek to involve every member of the audience as much as possible. Using my guitar, harmonica, rhythm instruments, and voice, I aim to tell stories in unique and unexpected ways.

School Visits
For school visits, I am willing to come to individual classrooms when required. This intimate format promotes interaction and features songs and activities that solicit input from the group. Choose from musical presentations, storytelling & booktalks, or a combination of stories and music.

Don’t see exactly what you need here? No problem! Let’s work together and create something just for your group and need.

Please contact for quotes. Prices vary based on audience size, distance traveled, and whether or not a sound system is needed/provided.
